Horse Drawn Okanagan invites you to experience the magic of a horse-drawn sleigh ride this winter. Horses, sleigh bells, hot cocoa, and caroling around the fire - it’s a perfect holiday activity for the whole family. Join us in the beautiful countryside of Armstrong for a good old-fashioned Christmas. Visit with our horses, sheep and adorable donkey named Willow, play some games, and take lots of photos with family and friends in our beautifully decorated covered hay shed. New this year, we welcome musicians to play live music as the weather allows and we will have displays of antique horse drawn equipment in the snow covered hay field.
Hot chocolate and cookies are complementary and served from our vintage horse trailer bar. Sleigh rides are approximately 20-25 mins long, and sleighs can seat up to 14 people. Guests are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes in advance of the scheduled ride time, dress warm, and bring a seat cushion for added comfort. We’ll gladly serve hot chocolate in your travel mug. Guests will be sitting on wooden benches with blankets on each sleigh.
We strongly suggest booking in advance to secure your seats or we cannot guarantee availability. Please leave dogs in the comfort of your home. Absolutely no smoking allowed. In the event there is not enough snow, we will run on wagons. Sorry, there are no refunds, with the exception that the event date or time is canceled, and we will try first to reschedule your sleigh ride. Changes to your tickets can be made through Ticketseller with advance notice, provided there is room still available.
