Federal All-Candidates Forum

The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner with the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Society to host a Federal All-Candidates Forum for the riding of Vernon-Lake Country-Monashee ahead of the upcoming federal election.
The forum will take place on Wednesday, April 17th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet the candidates in the foyer prior to the start of the forum. Admission is free, and a live stream will also be provided for those who wish to tune in virtually.
All candidates currently announced for the Vernon-Lake Country-Monashee riding have been invited to participate in the forum.
“This is an important opportunity for our community to hear directly from the individuals seeking to represent them in Ottawa,” said Dan Proulx, General Manager of the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce. “We are pleased to collaborate with the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Society to present this forum. It’s vital that voters have access to information about the candidates and their party platforms so they can make informed decisions and fully engage in the democratic process ahead of the election on April 28th.”
The forum will include opening remarks from each candidate, moderated questions, and time permitting, a Q&A portion with submissions from the audience.
